A vast selection of jadeite, coloured gemstones, diamonds and fine jewellery will headline Tiancheng International’s Jewellery and Jadeite Autumn Auction scheduled for November 26 in Hong Kong.
Leading the sale is a pair of natural jadeite and lavender jadeite bangles alongside a ring adorned with an 18.18-carat natural unheated pigeon’s blood ruby from Mogok and a ring accentuated with a 13.56-carat natural untreated Muzo emerald from Colombia.
The auction house will provide pre-sale estimates for the bangles upon request. “Bangles are among some of the finest pieces in jadeite collecting and are highly sought after by connoisseurs,” noted Tiancheng International. “Jadeite bangles of superior quality are exceptionally difficult to come by as they have to be carved from an entire piece of premium-grade boulder.”
The ruby ring is valued at HK$7.5 million to HKS$9.5 million (around US$962,000 to US$1.21 million) while the Muzo emerald ring is estimated to fetch HK$6.5 million to HKD$9.5 million (around US$ 833,300 to US$1.21 million. According to Tiancheng International, the auction and viewing are open to the public by appointment. Buyers can participate in the bidding in person, by telephone or online.
