The first ever India International Jewellery Show, IIJS Virtual 2020 kicked off with 330 exhibitors and over 8,000 registered buyers.
The five-day online fair from October 12 to 16 also attracted some 200 international visitors from the US, the UK, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Singapore and Hong Kong, among others. It is organised by the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) and powered by GIA.
IIJS, now in its 38th edition, was transformed to a complete virtual experience this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
