Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group Ltd recently bought coloured gemstone expert Enzo Jewelry Inc as a way to further enrich the Hong Kong-based retailer’s multi-brand portfolio.
Adrian Cheng, executive director of Chow Tai Fook, said Enzo is expected to complement the group’s multi-brand strategy and enable it to venture deeper into the coloured gemstone sector.
Founded in 2004, Enzo is a luxury coloured gemstone jewellery brand renowned for its craftsmanship and nature-inspired fine jewellery collections.
Currently, Enzo has around 60 points of sale in mainland China, primarily located in Tier I and II cities. The brand wants to expand its footprint in China through self-operated and franchise models. It also has a solid brand presence on major ecommerce platforms in China, including Tmall, JD.com and VIP.com where it offers a diverse and creative product portfolio.
According to Chow Tai Fook, Enzo carries many iconic collections such as Ocean, Peplum, Rainbow Bouquet and The Palace Museum x ENZO collections. With price points ranging from under RMB 3,000 (around US$437) to RMB 50,000 (around US$7,290) and above, Enzo caters to modern, sophisticated and confident women.
