Italian jewellery companies are making their presence felt at Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD), which is taking place at the Dubai Exhibition Centre from November 11 to 13.
The Italian Pavilion, organised by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, features 30 leading jewellers, innovators and technology specialists. A dedicated Italian Jewellery Lounge facilitates networking with regional buyers, investors and partners.
According to ITA, Italy is the third-largest jewellery exporter to the UAE. In the first seven months of 2025, Italian gem and jewellery exports to the UAE reached 836.9 million euros (around US$966.2 million), a 13.72 per cent increase over the same period in 2024.
"The Italian jewellery and gemstone sector is renowned worldwide for its quality, innovation and design leadership. The UAE has consistently served as a prime destination for our jewellery exports, which have long been our leading category in this market,” said Valerio Soldani, trade commissioner at ITA in the UAE. “JGTD provides an ideal platform for Italian companies to present their expertise, connect with partners and reinforce Italy’s reputation as a trusted, forward-looking trade partner in one of the world’s most dynamic luxury markets.”
Aside from the companies in the pavilion, a number of Italian jewellery, gem and machinery manufacturers are exhibiting in other areas of the show.
