Jewellers will have at their disposal a wide selection of innovative tools and equipment at this year’s edition of Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW).
Lampert Werktechnik GmbH from Germany will offer its latest innovation – the new PUK 6.1 micro-welding technology can perform multiple tasks, offering precision for welding metals like silver, and alloys. The company, which has over 23 years of experience in the trade, prides itself in its unique micro-pulse arc welding technology that enables the welding of extremely thin materials as thin as 0.1mm/0.004 inch.
Taian Precious Metals Equipment Technology Ltd from China, for its part, will shine the spotlight on its advanced jewellery casting machines. The company will offer a platinum vacuum pressure casting machine with a dual chamber, which can reach temperatures up to 2100 °C and is capable of casting platinum, gold and silver.
Also on display will be a vacuum pressure casting machine with electromagnetic stirring and precise temperature control, as well as a mini melting furnace that can melt 1kg of gold in three minutes.
Meanwhile, Wing Wo Hong Industrial Products Ltd will present its range of high-quality jewellery-making tools.
