Professional trade buyers will have their pick of the finest coloured gemstones at the jewellery materials section of Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW) 2024, taking place from September 16 to 20 at the AsiaWorld-Expo.
Natural Sapphires Ceylon Pvt Ltd of Sri Lanka will shine the spotlight on its vast selection of blue and Padparadscha sapphires.
Offering both fine single stones and calibrated goods, the company purchases rough from gem miners and transforms these into high-quality cut and polished gems in its state-of-the-art lapidary.
Its highlights at JGW include an unheated 3.67-carat blue sapphire and a couple of unheated orangish-pink oval Padparadscha sapphires weighing 2.91 and 2.0 carats respectively.
Saket Inter Co Ltd, for its part, is presenting an expansive assortment of Burmese rubies and sapphires at the show.
The Thailand-based company specialises in unheated goods, which are consistently in high demand in the market. Its offerings include both faceted stones and cabochons.
Sukhadia Stones Co Ltd, also from Thailand, is likewise readying an extensive array of heated and unheated coloured gemstones in single stones, layouts and calibrated sizes for JGW 2024.
Rubies and sapphires form the bulk of its inventory, but the coloured gemstone wholesaler also supplies emeralds, tsavorites and spinels, among others.
According to show organiser Informa Markets Jewellery, JGW 2024 will feature over 3,300 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and regions across two worldclass venues.
The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre section of the trade fair will host suppliers of finished jewellery, packaging solutions, tools and equipment, and jewellery industry-related technologies from September 18 to 22.
