Opals’ otherworldly allure will be front and centre at Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong (JGA) 2024 as traders present their latest collections at the four-day fair.
Beloved Australian opals will be in the limelight at Hang Fong Opal Co’s booth at the show, which takes place from June 20 to 23 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. Established in 1983 and headquartered in Coober Pedy, the company directly imports rough opal.
Hang Fong produces top-quality solid opal, opal doublets and triplets at its 10,000-sqf factory and specialises in 14-karat gold and 925 silver opal jewellery. “Our handmade free-form designs are highly sought after. Serving global markets, we aim to exceed customer expectations with our exceptional craftsmanship and reliable services,” noted the company.
Hong Kong-based Opals Mine Factory Ltd also has an extensive inventory of Australian opals. Armed with more than 30 years of experience in opal manufacturing, export and wholesale, the company is a trusted and highly reliable supplier in the trade.
Opals Mine Factory remarked, “We offer a vast range of opal products, including calibrated and free-form opals, opal beads, carvings, boulders, solids and doublets. We also produce opal jewellery in 925 sterling silver, and 14-karat and 18-karat gold.”
Opal Pacific Ltd of New Zealand is another top player in the Australian opal industry. “We cut and carve opals as well as re-polish, re-cut and replace stones. In the 40 years since our first mining operation began, Opal Pacific has built a very solid and impressive reputation as both an opal supplier and jewellery manufacturer,” the company noted.
