Greenlab Diamonds LLP wants to impress buyers with its expansive assortment of lab-grown diamonds (LGD) in exclusive cuts and designs alongside customisation services for buyers eyeing personalised jewellery pieces.
Other highlights of the company’s product offerings are a collection of fancy colour LGDs in vibrant hues such as pink, blue, yellow and green as well as intricately designed lab-grown diamond jewellery pieces.
According to Sanket Patel, director of Greenlab Diamonds, the company specialises in chemical vapour deposition diamonds in all sizes and clarity grades; loose LGDs and LGD jewellery; and larger parcel goods of more than 20 carats in a wide variety of shapes.
“Lab-grown diamonds offer greater consistency and customisation,” remarked Patel. “LGDs can be produced with specific characteristics, allowing for better matching and customisation. They are also more affordable than their natural counterparts, making them a more accessible option for consumers.”
Greenlab Diamonds is training its sights on buyers from Hong Kong as well as major jewellery retail chains from mainland China. So far, the US and Europe are driving the strongest demand
for LGDs.
“More Chinese consumers are seeking luxury products as the middle-class market continues to expand. This presents a valuable opportunity for LGD companies,” explained Patel. “Lab-grown diamonds offer a chance for buyers to own a high-quality diamond at a lower price point. This affordability factor is particularly appealing to the price-sensitive Chinese market.”
Patel also expects stronger growth in the LGD sector, owing to rising consumer preference for ethical and sustainable jewellery and higher disposable income of target buyers.
