Jewellers from Japan are bringing their intricately designed, culture-inspired jewellery collections to Hong Kong shores as they exhibit at this year’s highly awaited B2B event – Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong in September.
Jewelry of Raden and Urushi is shining the light on its celebrated jewellery pieces made from raden (mother-of-pearl inlay) and urushi (Japanese lacquer). At the fair, the company will feature raden and urushi pendants and brooches further adorned with diamonds and pink tourmaline in 18-karat yellow gold.
Designer Keiko Ito commented, “I use genuine natural materials and intricate craftsmanship to produce every jewellery piece. Only a refined and meticulous artist can bring out the colours and lustre of seashells and the gloss of lacquer.”
IML Co Ltd, for its part, will offer diamond jewellery pieces from its NuDia brand, which it founded in 2015. IML has 23 years of experience in the trade, specialising in a modern laser technique to achieve a unique diamond setting since 2000.
Fine-quality coloured gemstone jewellery, meanwhile, are headlining Tomikura Co Ltd’s product offerings. At the fair, the company will showcase rings adorned with emerald and chrysoberyl cat’s eye, to name a few.
Registration for JGW 2023 is now open.
