Organised by Informa Markets Jewellery, the Sustainability Awards by JWA (Jewellery World Awards) celebrates outstanding sustainability efforts implemented by enterprises in the fine jewellery, gemstone and related industries. This year’s Sustainability Awards were presented to seven winners. Two outstanding entries also earned the newly introduced Jury’s Special Recognition Award. The awardees and 13 finalists represent a diverse range of countries and regions, namely Australia, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, the Philippines, the US and Vietnam. Winners and finalists also participated in the Sustainability Heroes Panel Series during Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong: “Jewels of a Sustainable Future” on September 17 and “From Source to Showcase: Inspiring Change in the Jewellery Industry” on September 18.
