Platinum Guild International capitalised on the platform provided by the third China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) 2023 from April 11 to 15 to showcase its collections and initiatives to consumers, collaborate with trade partners and foster innovation in the platinum jewellery industry.
In dual exhibitions in Haikou and Sanya, PGI highlighted the enduring and timeless charm of platinum jewellery to younger consumers.
The main booth in Haikou cast the spotlight on the 2023 Pt Moment® collection along with selected antique platinum jewellery pieces from Lueur in an elaborate display of traditional and modern jewellery design.
With the slogan “Tenacity Powered Elegance Emboldened by Platinum,” the 2023 Pt Moment® collection celebrates the resilience and gentleness of today’s modern woman. The jewellery pieces innovatively integrate new technology such as 3D electroforming and feature enamel, gems and other materials.
For its part, the sub-exhibition in Sanya focused on design interpretation by capturing the innovative design and emotional appeal of platinum through exhibits and displays.

PGI also participated in several thought-leadership and launch activities at CICPE, demonstrating its strategic know-how in the jewellery industry.
At the Wushang Group Co Ltd Strategic Cooperation Ceremony on April 11, Pui P. Poon, managing director of PGI China, cited the positive consumer response to the two parties’ collaboration on value chain development, from platinum design and manufacturing to sales.
On April 12, PGI and strategic partner Lukfook Jewellery joined the People’s Daily-hosted livestreaming session to promote the new Pt Moment® collection and the DiaPure x Pt diamond collection. That afternoon, PGI and Lukfook launched the 2023 DiaPure x Pt collection to a global audience.
PGI also underscored the significance of China’s “she economy” to the jewellery industry. At the Women’s Fashion Consumption Forum during CICPE, PGI’s Pui noted the growth opportunities in the country’s female self-purchase segment, inviting trade partners to carry branded collections such as Pt Moment® that appeal to this lucrative market.
Meanwhile, at the second Design+ Forum (Sanya) and Jewellery Culture & Technology Exhibition on April 13, Alex Ye, director of Trade Marketing & Development of PGI China, discussed the Pt® EDITION programme launched with ontimeshow and Lohas, a subsidiary of Meta Media Group.
Pt® EDITION provides interested brands with multifaceted support, from design and development to promotion and retail.
Taking CICPE as a new opportunity, PGI gave full play to the scaling effect of resource clustering and comprehensively demonstrated the internal drive of innovation and professional, forward-looking insight. With its unending pursuit for innovation, PGI continues to innovate cooperation models and co-create a more optimistic future with its partners.
