Surreal experiences and otherworldly imaginings come alive with Italian fine jeweller Dreamboule’s exceptional pieces that feature bejewelled microcosms enclosed in a transparent dome.

Dreamboule founder and designer Beniamino Crocco creates miniature worlds of gems and mesmerising characters that sit on faceted sapphires in rich dimensions.

A Swiss-made sapphire cabochon that is anti-reflective and scratch-proof is placed on top of the design like a hermetic seal of protection for the dreamlike scene below. Delicate golden flakes or dust placed within the dome further enhance the piece’s illusory appeal.

The precious items are also submerged in a “magic solution” especially formulated to allow them to move freely in slow motion.

“The perfect density of the solution creates within the sapphire cabochon a world that has its own metric of time and the frenetic pace of life acquires a dreamlike dimension,” the jeweller said. “In addition to the magical component of the solution, the secret ingredients are used to preserve and protect all components inside the sapphire cabochon.”

The jewellery pieces are in 18-karat gold and adorned with G-colour diamonds of VS clarity grades, natural sapphires and rubies, and imperial faceted jade.
