Modern jewellery designs that epitomise the enduring appeal and versatility of gold are taking the beloved yellow metal to new heights.
Luxury jewellers are capitalising on the market’s soaring appetite for gold. Cartier recently launched new additions to its iconic LOVE Collection, which debuted in 1969. Continuing the LOVE bracelet’s legendary narrative, Cartier’s LOVE Unlimited pieces reimagine the classic design with an innovative touch.
The original LOVE bracelet features the brand’s signature screw motifs on a rigid oval structure, symbolising commitment and devotion. Meanwhile, the new LOVE Unlimited Collection offers a fresh interpretation of love: The fully flexible gold bracelet wraps around the wrist like a ribbon while a unique clasp design allows multiple bracelets to attach together, symbolising limitless love and intimate connections.
Each bracelet is made up of 200 specially miniaturised components that eliminate the need for cuts and links, ensuring a comfortable and flexible fit.
The new bracelets and rings are available in yellow, pink and white gold.
Italian jeweller Palmiero’s Rays of Sun High Jewellery Collection, on the other hand, showcases the precious metal’s modern allure. Inspired by the sun's radiance, the designs display wave-like ruffles that elegantly capture the fluidity of gold. The intricate mirror polish between the sculpted lines creates a captivating interplay of light and shadow, complemented with the brilliance of diamonds that intertwine with the metallic sheen.
The collection includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings. Standout pieces are rose gold rings and earrings with white, red or blue enamel accents on the inner rim of the rings or inner hoops of the earrings.
