Coloured gemstones like aquamarine, spinel, rubellite and tanzanite, to name a few, are gaining traction in the market, thanks to buyers’ heightened appreciation for unconventionality.
Vivid gems are the stars of Boghossian’s Lirya Collection, which features aquamarine, rubellite, green tourmaline and tanzanite. This collection embodies the beauty of harmony where gemstones are composed in a “graceful dance of colour and form.”
Oscar Heyman, for its part, introduced new designs with a wide variety of coloured gemstones at the centre – an ode to every colour of the rainbow. For instance, a platinum ring adorned with a combination of aquamarines, sapphires and diamonds; and a ring, also in platinum, with an 8.99-carat cushion-cut rubellite focal stone. Surrounding the rubellite on both sides of the band are trilliant-cut diamonds.
Tiffany & Co, meanwhile, unveiled new creations for the Bird on a Rock by Tiffany Collection, a reimagined line that pays tribute to celebrated designer Jean Schlumberger’s iconic design. One of the high jewellery suites including a bracelet, necklace and earrings is adorned with tanzanite. The necklace, featuring a 12-carat tanzanite centre gem, is a testament to the beauty of coloured gemstones and exquisite craftsmanship.
