Curated attractions, from precious metal showcases to signature pavilions, are set to entice buyers and enrich their sourcing experience at this year’s Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW) scheduled for September 15 to 21.
Glowing opportunities
JGW, renowned as the biggest B2B fine jewellery event in the world, will shine the spotlight on gold, platinum, silver and other jewellery metals at this year’s show.
Organised by Informa’s Jewellery & Gem Knowledge Community, the "Sublime Shine - Metal Innovations in the Art of Jewellery" special exhibit (Stand 3M260, HKCEC) is dedicated to gold, platinum, silver and other metals used in fine jewellery manufacturing. The showcase is supported by two Industry Partners – WGC and Platinum Guild International (PGI®).
The Gold Jewellery Pavilion will feature over 40 exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Malaysia, and serve as the premier destination to discover innovative trends and technological advancements in gold jewellery manufacturing.
A special highlight is the World Gold Council (WGC) Pavilion, which makes its debut appearance at JGW. The WGC Pavilion will house 14 gold jewellery manufacturers from China who will promote hard pure gold jewellery to international markets, particularly Southeast Asia and the Middle East, which traditionally favour pure gold jewellery.
Companies taking centre stage in the WGC Pavilion are Shenzhen Swiky jewellery Co Ltd, Shenzhen Cuilu Jewelry Manufacturing Co Ltd, Zijin Mining Group Gold Jewelry Co Ltd, Shenzhen Mingfeng Jewelry Ltd, Shenzhen Yuehao Jewellery Co Ltd, Shenzhen Binfen International Jewelry Co Ltd, Shenzhen Fenghui Holding Investment (Group) Co Ltd, Shenzhen Jinmingzhu Jewelry Co Ltd, Guanhua Jewelry, HK Chaozun Jewelry Ltd, Shenzhen Jinyufu Jewelry Co Ltd, Shenzhen Ganlu Jewellery Co Ltd,Shenzhen Batar Investment Holding Group Co Ltd and Shenzhen Point Gold Precioius Metal Co Ltd.
According to WGC, hard pure gold jewellery has emerged as the fastest-growing product category in China in the last two years. Hard pure gold jewellery pieces are produced using advanced technology such as special electroforming and plating techniques that enable more intricate, lighter styles with greater durability and wear resistance.
“We aim to introduce hard pure gold jewellery to the global market through JGW, boosting the buyers’ awareness of this category while showcasing the technical expertise of Chinese jewellery manufacturers in producing hard pure gold jewellery,” said Roland Wang, regional CEO of WGC China. “Given the challenges posed by high gold prices to global gold jewellery sales, hard pure gold jewellery provides a blend of lightweight designs and extensive options. We are confident that this innovative category will resonate well with the international market."
Beyond this section, gold jewellery exhibitors are positioned throughout the exhibition, offering valuable opportunities for buyers to explore.
Another highlight is the Platinum Jewellery Pavilion, organised by Platinum Guild International (PGI®). Featured companies include Shenzhen Jinxiaodu Jewelry Co Ltd, King Li Holdings HK Co Ltd, Jewelex India Pvt Ltd, BN Jewellers India Pvt Ltd and ORO Precious Metals Pvt Ltd.
